BLUEBERRY APPLE CIDER VINEGAR DRINK RECIPE
Check out this blueberry apple cider vinegar drink recipe. I’ve heard for years that I should be drinking apple cider vinegar for health reasons. People credit drinking apple cider vinegar as a cure for just about everything that exists. While I can’t find any concrete scientific proof that Apple Cider Vinegar is a cure-all, there are enough people who see results in their health that I’m willing to try it.
BLUEBERRY APPLE CIDER VINEGAR DRINK RECIPE
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) has been credited with helping things like weight loss, blood sugar, bacterial infections, lack of energy, and heart health. I’ve got my eye on a few of these things and adding in Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural step that may improve your health.
So, what’s been stopping me? The taste. Blech. Have you ever tasted apple cider vinegar? It’s less than delicious. I’m part of a group of bloggers that remakes a Pinterest pin each month to make it our own. This month, I found a Berry Lemon ACV Drink that I wanted to recreate.
I was out of raspberries but, as luck would have it, I have blueberries. I also added maple syrup instead of honey since I have maple syrup from the trees in our backyard already.
CAN I DRINK APPLE CIDER VINEGAR EVERY DAY?
Yes, you certainly can. Healthline advises one to two tablespoons mixed with water every day. You can drink it plain. Or, you can use it in an apple cider vinegar drink recipe like this one. I find that it’s much easier for me to drink when I have added fruit to it to help the taste. But, it’s entirely up to you.
WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO DRINK APPLE CIDER VINEGAR?
This Blueberry Apple Cider Vinegar Drink recipe is a much nicer way to get your daily dose of apple cider vinegar than by drinking it plain. It takes only a few minutes to make, and I can have a glass made even on my busiest morning.
WHEN SHOULD I DRINK APPLE CIDER VINEGAR?
I find that it’s easiest for me to drink this apple cider vinegar drink recipe first thing in the morning before I eat or drink anything else. You may also find it helpful to drink it right before a meal. It can help you feel full which will mean you eat less.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF DRINKING APPLE CIDER VINEGAR EVERY DAY?
While you can drink this every day, there are potential side effects according to some people. You will need to make your own decision. Possible side effects of drinking ACV every day are tooth enamel loss, stomach upset, and low potassium levels.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CIDER VINEGAR AND APPLE CIDER VINEGAR?
They are pretty much the same thing. Cider vinegar is made from fermenting apples and typically contains the “mother” which contains bacteria. Most apple cider vinegar (unless marked otherwise) do not contain the mother.
I’m not sure how the author of the original pin got her drink a bright pink. Even with extra blueberries, mine didn’t turn bright purple or blue. So, if you’re looking for a color change, don’t feel like you did something wrong if it doesn’t give you a bright color. It still tastes good!
So, if the taste is difficult for you to handle, you can add honey to cut the bite a little bit. An apple cider vinegar drink recipe with honey will still be good for you. Look for raw honey from a local source if possible for added health benefits. I generally find mine at local farmer’s markets. But, you might be able to find yours in the grocery store in the organic or specialty section.
